LUCKNOW: As the primary of the seven-phase 2024 Lok Sabha elections went underway on Wednesday with the Election Fee issuing notification to start the nomination course of, here’s a have a look at how the political events fared within the 2019 parliamentary polls in the important thing state of Uttar Pradesh.In a state that sends 80 MPs to the Lok Sabha, the BJP bagged 62 seats and its ally Apna Dal acquired two within the final normal elections. Social gathering supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav had gained Mainpuri and presently his daughter-in-law is an MP from there.Section 4:- BJP gained all 13 seats from Awadh and Bundelkhand areas that went to polls on this part.- SP supremo Akhilesh Yadav’s spouse Dimple Yadav misplaced to BJP’s Subrat Pathak.Section 5- BJP gained 13 out of 14 seats.-Congress gained one seat (Raebareli) however suffered a serious setback as Rahul Gandhi misplaced the Amethi seat to the BJP’s Smriti Irani.Section 6- BJP bagged 9 of the 14 seats within the Purvanchal area the place polling was held on this phase- BSP gained 4 seats- Samajwadi Social gathering acquired one (Azamgarh gained by Akhilesh Yadav)Section 7- BJP had gained 9 seats (Prime Minister Narendra Modi retained Varanasi by a file margin)- BJP ally Apna Dal (S) acquired two seats (Mirzapur and Robertsganj).- BSP gained two seats on this part.The vote proportion of the BJP was 49.6 per cent, BSP 19.26 per cent, SP 17.96 per cent, Congress 6.31 per cent, and Apna Dal (S) 1.01 per cent votes.
