BAREILLY: 4 Class X college students on their strategy to seem for an examination carried out by UP Board have been killed after the minivan during which they have been travelling misplaced management following a tyre burst and overturned close to Jaravan on Kant-Jalalabad state freeway in Shahjahanpur round 7am on Tuesday. Police stated the motive force was discovered to be inebriated and was rushing.SP (metropolis) Sanjay Kumar stated, “There were nine students in the van.Mohini (16), Parthistha (15) and Anurag Kumar (14) died on the spot and six others were injured. They were shifted to hospital where Anurup Kumar (15) passed away. The bodies were sent for autopsy.” The SP added: “The driver, Mulayam Yadav, who suffered minor injuries, was booked under sections 304-A (causing death by negligence) and 279 (rash driving) of IPC. He was driving a private vehicle for commercial use, and will be sent to jail after questioning.”An eyewitness stated, “I was going to market on my bicycle when I heard a loud bang. A van overturned and students were screaming for help. Soon, others joined to rescue them. Police were informed. Most students suffered serious head injuries.” The scholars from Kant’s Barenda village had employed the minivan to succeed in their examination centre in Jaitipur. Shahjahanpur DM Umesh Kumar Singh and SP (metropolis) Kumar reached hospital and met the victims.
