NEW DELHI: The CPI(M) on Thursday launched its first record of 44 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. The record, which was shared by the social gathering on X, consists of 15 candidates for Kerala, together with sitting MP A M Arif from Alappuzha, former well being minister Ok Ok Shailaja, and Rajya Sabha MP E Kareem. The CPI(M) introduced 17 names for West Bengal, together with Md Salim from Murshidabad.The names had been introduced earlier by the social gathering’s state unit. It named two candidates for Tamil Nadu — sitting MP S Venkatesan from Madurai and R Sachidhanandham from Dindigul. The social gathering additionally introduced one candidate every for Bihar, Jharkhand, Assam, Karnataka, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Punjab, Rajasthan, Telangana and Tripura.
