RIO DE JANEIRO: Heavy rains in Brazil this weekend have killed at the very least 23 individuals between the southeastern states of Rio de Janeiro and Espirito Santo. Espirito Santos’ state authorities stated on Sunday that 15 individuals died and virtually 5,000 are out of their houses because of heavy rains falling since Friday night time. Rio authorities reported eight deaths on Saturday. 13 deaths in Espirito Santo have been registered in Mimoso do Sul, a countryside metropolis 74 kilometers (46 miles) south of state capital Vitoria.
