KOLKATA: Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday publicly disowned her youngest brother, Babun Banerjee, after he protested former footballer Prasun Banerjee’s nomination as Trinamool’s candidate for Howrah Lok Sabha seat and threatened to take him on as an Unbiased.”I don’t like greedy people,” the CM stated, alluding to her sibling. “Forget there were ever any familial ties between us; there is nothing from today. People are free to choose and fight on their own wherever they want.” Mamata stated she had at all times most well-liked and practiced “manushtantra” (politics for individuals) over “parivartantra” (politics for household). “Not everything can be said publicly; we sometimes can’t speak of the pain in our hearts.
