MANILA: US secretary of state Antony Blinken underscored Washington’s “ironclad commitment” on Tuesday to assist defend the Philippines in case of an armed assault towards its forces after clashes between Chinese language and Filipino coast guards within the disputed South China Sea not too long ago turned extra hostile.
