NEW DELHI: The Indian Navy undertook airborne insertion of Particular Forces by paradropping inflatable crafts and MARCOs from C-130 plane within the Arabian Sea for continued anti-piracy operations within the area, Indian Navy stated on Monday.The train was undertaken in response to the continued maritime safety state of affairs within the Gulf of Aden and Arabian Sea and to make sure immediate motion towards any maritime menace.”Indian Navy remains committed and poised towards the safety and security of merchant shipping and seafarers in the region,” the Navy spokesperson stated.In the meantime, in January, the Indian Navy warship INS Sumitra thwarted the piracy try on an Iranian-flagged fishing vessel, Al Naeemi crusing off the East Coast of Somalia and efficiently rescued 19 Pakistani nationals on Monday, as per the Indian Navy.It’s the second rescue operation inside a day for the Indian Navy after saving one other Iranian-flagged fishing vessel, FV Iman, from Somali pirates, which had 17 crew members onboard in its anti-piracy operations alongside the east coast of Somalia and the Gulf of Aden on Monday, an official assertion stated in January.
