Jagapathi Babu, who lately appeared in Prabhas’ ‘Salaar: Half 1 – Ceasefire’, directed by Prashanth Neel in his Telugu directorial debut, is now gearing up for the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Ruslaan’ alongside Ayush Sharma.In an unique chat with ETimes, Jagapathi Babu, portraying a Senior Police Officer within the movie, shared his insights into the challenge and extra.Expressing his admiration for trustworthy cops, Jagapathi Babu revealed, “I’ve always been fascinated by honest cops. In fact, my social media profile pictures often depict me in a cop’s attire because I’ve mentioned that if I hadn’t become an actor, I would have pursued a career as a super cop, possibly an encounter specialist.”Increasing on his admiration for regulation enforcement, he added, “That’s the only alternative career path I can envision for myself. I hold cops in high regard; they are the true heroes, more so than politicians. They are the ones on the frontline, making a real difference.”When questioned about his preliminary ideas upon listening to the idea of ‘Ruslaan’, Jagapathi Babu confessed, “I wasn’t familiar with Ayush Sharma, but I did seek Salman’s opinion before committing to the project. He encouraged me to go ahead with it, even though it wasn’t on par with the projects we’ve worked on together.
