HYDERABAD: The All India Congress Committee on Friday launched the primary record of candidates for 39 lok sabha constituencies within the states of Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Meghalaya, Lakshadweep, Tripura, Nagaland and Sikkim.Congress MP Rahul Gandhi will once more contest from Wayanad, a seat received by him in 2019. Of the entire 39 candidates introduced, 16 are from Kerala, seven from Karnataka and 6 from Chhattisgarh, 4 from Telangana, two from Meghalaya and one every from Tripura, Nagaland, Lakshadweep and Sikkim. AICC normal secretary Okay C Venugopal stated of the 39, as many as 24 candidates are from SC, SAT, OBC and minority communities and 15 normal class.Giving the age profile, he stated of the 39 candidates, as many as 12 of them are aged beneath 50 years, 8 aged between 50 and 60 years, 12 between 61 and 70 years and 7 between 71 and 76 years age. “It is a combination of skilled, children, NSUI and Youth Congress leaders who’ve been working on the floor stage. Of the 4 names introduced from Telangana, all are males together with one Scheduled Tribe constituency of Mahbubabad. Former union minister of state Porika Balram Naik can be contesting from Mahbubabad ST seat.Congress Working Committee particular invitee Ch Vamshi Chand Reddy will contest from Mahbubnagar. Vamshi can also be the AICC secretary working within the workplace of AICC normal secretary KC Venugopal in New Delhi.Okay Raghuveer Reddy, son of Congress veteran Okay Jana Reddy has been introduced from Nalgonda lok sabha constituency. That is the second ticket to the household, with Okay Jaiveer Reddy, one other son of Jana Reddy contesting and successful the Nagarjuna Sagar meeting seat within the 2023-election.Former MP Suresh Kumar Shetkar will contest from Zahirabad lok sabha constituency.
