PANAJI: Goa police’s crime department on Sunday arrested an Odisha native, Jitendra Nayak, 28, for the alleged unlawful possession of narcotics price Rs 40 lakh.SP Rahul Gupta mentioned that the crime department had acquired particular and dependable details about a consignment. The crew then performed a raid close to the Margao wholesale fish market and caught Nayak red-handed. He was in possession of 4kg of “flowering and fruiting tops of a plant suspected to be ganja”.The crime department then registered an FIR underneath numerous sections of the NDPS Act, 1985, and arrested Nayak.
