CHENNAI: Tiruvallur district police on Wednesday arrested the panchayat president of Ulundhai village on expenses of assaulting a staffer of a non-public agency.Mappedu police booked panchayat president MK Ramesh on a grievance from Ok Chinnamuniyandi, an HR supervisor at a non-public engineering agency in Mappedu.In line with the grievance filed by Chinnamuniyandi, he alongside along with his colleagues went to the panchayat workplace in reference to a discover his agency had obtained concerning a land subject. He added that Ramesh verbally abused them for not bringing the proprietor of the land with whom the agency had a dispute.Throughout an argument that ensued Ramesh slapped Chinnamuniyandi and tried to strangle the HR government.
