I ndia’s Rasmalai has ranked second amongst the world’s prime cheese desserts in an inventory launched by TasteAtlas, a meals and journey information platform. Topping the record is a dessert referred to as Sernik, from Poland. Also referred to as ‘Rosomalai’ or ‘Roshmalai’, the dessert which originated in Bengal, consists of flattened balls of chenna (a kind of cheese) soaked in malai and flavoured with cardamom.
