Picture used for representational objective solely PANAJI: Two folks, Virendra Naik and Naresh Naik, are going through a case for allegedly threatening a journalist probing sand smuggling in South Goa, an official mentioned on Friday. The incident occurred on the Pollem checkpost on the Goa-Karnataka border. The police have registered a case below sections 341, 509, and 506 towards the accused. Deputy superintendent of police Tikam Singh Varma acknowledged that if the accused don’t cooperate with the investigation, they are going to be arrested. The journalist was reportedly intimidated whereas finishing up the investigation.
