NEW DELHI: The UAE’s first Hindu temple stone temple attracted practically 65,000 pilgrims on its first Sunday open to the general public.Just lately inaugurated by PM Modi, the BAPS Hindu Mandir witnessed a footfall of round 40,000 guests who arrived within the morning and 25,000 within the night, making it 65,000 by the tip of the day.Appreciating the group administration, Sumant Rai, one of many guests stated, “Never have I seen such amazing order in the midst of thousands of people.””I was worried I would have to wait for hours and not be able to do darshan peacefully, but we had amazing darshan and were extremely satisfied. People, come join!”Declaring the diplomatic significance of the temple, US-based Piyush stated, “The opening of this Mandir is a testament to the UAE’s commitment to diversity and inclusion. It’s a beautiful representation of unity among different communities.”The UAE authorities launched a brand new bus route (203) from Abu Dhabi to the Mandir to commemorate the weekend visits.The Abu Dhabi primarily based temple was inaugurated by PM Modi on February 14 within the presence of UAE’s tolerance and co-existence minister Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan.(With inputs from companies)
