VIJAYAWADA: Hours after resignation of sitting MP Magunta Srinivasula Reddy, YSRCP named Chandragiri legislator Chevireddy Bhaskara Reddy as its nominee for Ongole Lok Sabha constituency. Celebration had earlier named Bhaskara Reddy as regional coordinator for Ongole, Nellore and Tirupati Lok Sabha constituencies. Celebration launched its eighth listing of candidates late on Wednesday. With social gathering named candidate Ummareddi Venkata Ramana backing out of contest, social gathering has appointed Ponnur legislator Kilari Rosaiah as its Lok Sabha candidate. By the way, Rosaiah is brother-in-law of Ummareddi Venkata Ramana. Celebration named irrigation minister Ambati Rambabu’s brother Ambati Murali as in-charge of Ponnur constituency. Celebration had additionally dropped deputy chief minister KV Narayanaswamy from the candidates listing and appointed his daughter Okay Krupalakshmi as in-charge for GD Nellore meeting constituency in Chittoor district. Initially, Narayana Swamy was deputed as Chittoor Lok Sabha candidate and Reddappa as GD Nellore meeting candidate. Following requests from Narayana Swamy, social gathering retained him as GD Nellore candidate and retained Reddappa as Chittoor LS candidate. Few weeks later, Narayana Swamy’s daughter was named as candidate from GD Nellore. Equally, social gathering modified the already introduced constituency coordinator for Kandukur constituency-Dr Aravinda Yadav with Kanigiri sitting MLA Burra Madhusudan Yadav. Sitting MLA from Kandukur Mangunta Maheedhar Reddy was dropped from the listing.
