DUBAI: Iran’s state media mentioned safety forces have been capable of launch hostages taken by gunmen Thursday following clashes in three separate areas in southeastern Iran that left 18 militants and 10 troops lifeless. Relations between the predominantly Sunni Muslim residents of the area and Iran’s Shiite theocracy have lengthy been strained.
