A black-walled banqueting corridor embellished with scenes from Greek mythology, the place historic Romans feasted by candlelight, has been unearthed in Pompeii, the archaeological park mentioned Thursday. The exceptionally well-preserved frescoes present the god Apollo making an attempt to seduce Trojan priestess Cassandra, and Helen of Troy assembly Paris, an encounter which might result in struggle.
