KANPUR: A district court docket in Auraiya on Wednesday sentenced former bandit Seema Parihar and her 4 associates to 4 years of imprisonment and slapped a positive of Rs 5,000 every in a kidnapping case lodged in 1994.The crime pertains to the kidnapping of 1 Promod Kumar Tripathi in March 1994. The kidnapping was dedicated by the then dreaded Lalaram-Seema Parihar gang. Lalaram was killed in a police encounter throughout the trial. Parihar, who was booked for instances associated to 70 murders and dacoities, has been out of jail since October 2008 after being acquitted in 15 prison instances. She was granted bail in one other 14 instances. District authorities counsel (DGC) Abhishek Mishra and ADGC Mukesh Kumar Porwal mentioned the case towards Parihar was registered at Kotwali Auraiya on March 19-20, 1994.
