Instagram: Guide to Restore Deleted Posts, Stories, and Reels- Have you accidentally deleted a post, story, or reel on Instagram and can’t find it? No worries, you can get it back. It might be a bit upsetting, but there are two main ways to bring back lost stuff: the ‘Archive’ and ‘Recently Deleted’ features.

Maybe you put the post or reel in the ‘Archive,’ and stories stay there for 24 hours. First, check the Archives. Archiving hides stuff from everyone but you. On the flip side, deleted content goes to the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder before it’s gone for good. It’s like a safety net for accidental deletions.

Find deleted posts, stories, or reels in the Archives:

TedsWoodworking Plans and Projects
  1. Open Instagram and go to your profile.
  2. Tap the three lines (menu) and choose “Archive.”
  3. Look at your archived posts and stories. If it’s there, you can unarchive and repost it.

Restore from the Recently Deleted folder:

  1. Go to your profile, tap “Settings” in the menu.
  2. Pick “Account” and then “Recently Deleted.”
  3. There, you’ll see posts and stories deleted in the last 30 days.
  4. Choose what you want back and tap “Restore” to put it on your profile again.

Understanding the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder is important. When you delete something, Instagram keeps it there for 30 days before erasing it for good. After that, you can’t get it back. This folder is like a temporary place for deleted stuff, giving you a chance to recover it. To get back things from the ‘Recently Deleted’ folder, go there, choose what you want, and tap “Restore” to save it from permanent deletion.
