MOSCOW : Russia’s Federal Safety Service (FSB) mentioned on Thursday that it had shot useless a Belarusian man who had been planning “an act of terrorism” on behalf of Ukraine within the northern Russian area of Karelia, the RIA state information company reported. The FSB, the primary successor company to the Soviet-era KGB, mentioned it had “seized weapons and an improvised explosive device” (IED) after the shootout.
