NEW DELHI: A collision occurred involving two planes at Heathrow Airport, one operated by British Airways carrying 121 passengers and the opposite by Virgin Atlantic.There have been no accidents reported, and airport operations remained unaffected regardless of injury to the wings of each plane, in accordance with the BBC report.Virgin Atlantic’s Boeing 787-9, which was empty on the time, was being towed from Terminal 3 to a different a part of the airfield following its current touchdown when the collision transpired.In the meantime, British Airways organized an alternate plane for its passengers, who have been en path to Accra, Ghana.Virgin Atlantic initiated investigations and carried out upkeep checks on its plane, which is now quickly out of service. The bottom-handling firm contracted by Virgin Atlantic was answerable for the towing operation.Heathrow Airport’s spokesperson assured that collaboration with emergency providers and airline companions was underway to deal with the incident. “We are working alongside emergency services and our airline partners in response to an incident involving two aircraft on the ground earlier today.
