The Chinese smartphone company will introduce three models: Redmi Note 13, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+. The launch event is scheduled for January 4, when all three smartphones will be unveiled. Xiaomi has already introduced these models in China, and now they’re bringing them to India.
Pricing Insights
Leaked information online suggests that the Redmi Note 13 will be the most budget-friendly among the series, starting at Rs 20,999. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 13 Pro and Note 13 Pro+ are expected to begin at Rs 28,999 and Rs 33,999, respectively.
What’s Under the Hood?
All three phones share a common 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a fast 120Hz refresh rate. The Pro variants stand out with an impressive 1.5K resolution. The Redmi Note 13 uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 chipset, while the Pro model runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 mobile platform. The top-tier Pro+ model boasts the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra SoC for enhanced performance.
Camera Features
In terms of photography, the standard model has a dual rear camera setup. The Pro model steps it up with a triple rear camera arrangement. The Redmi Note 13 features a 100MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera. In contrast, the Pro and Pro+ variants offer professional-grade photography with a robust 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 primary rear sensor featuring optical image stabilization (OIS). Talking about battery capacity, both the standard and high-end Pro+ models have a strong 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro model slightly exceeds a 5,100mAh battery. Charging capabilities vary, with the Redmi Note 13, Note 13 Pro, and Note 13 Pro+ supporting 33W, 67W, and an impressive 120W fast charging, respectively. All three models are set to run on the MIUI 14 operating system, based on the stable foundation of Android 13.
